A clinical study with VASCASSIST 2, which deals with the validation of central measurement based on model-based pulse wave analysis (mbPWA), takes second place in the Science Award of the German Heart Foundation: The central pressure study of the University of Heidelberg led by PD Dr med. Frederik Trinkmann: “Automated non-invasive central blood pressure measurements using oscillometric radial pulse wave analysis — results of the MEASURE-cBP validation studies” wins the 2018 Kurt and Erika Palm Science Prize of the German Heart Foundation, awarded this year for the first time and jointly with the German Society for Prevention and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Diseases (DGPR).
