VascIn­sight rela­ted stu­dy has won second pri­ze at sci­ence award of Ger­man Heart Foundation

A cli­ni­cal stu­dy with VASCASSIST 2, which deals with the vali­da­ti­on of cen­tral mea­su­re­ment based on model-based pul­se wave ana­ly­sis (mbPWA), takes second place in the Sci­ence Award of the Ger­man Heart Foun­da­ti­on: The cen­tral pres­su­re stu­dy of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Hei­del­berg led by PD Dr med. Fre­de­rik Trink­mann: “Auto­ma­ted non-inva­­si­­ve cen­tral blood pres­su­re mea­su­re­ments using oscil­lo­me­tric radi­al pul­se wave ana­ly­sis — results of the MEA­­SU­­RE-cBP vali­da­ti­on stu­dies” wins the 2018 Kurt and Eri­ka Palm Sci­ence Pri­ze of the Ger­man Heart Foun­da­ti­on, award­ed this year for the first time and joint­ly with the Ger­man Socie­ty for Pre­ven­ti­on and Reha­bi­li­ta­ti­on of Car­dio­vas­cu­lar Dise­a­ses (DGPR).
